Mutter, Mutter

WooHoo! Its Wednesday. One day closer to the weekend.

Yesterday, I was over at ms.l ‘s place. She had an interesting post. It is called Unconscious Mutterings .

At this site is a list of words, you are supposed to say/type the first thing those words conjure up in your mind. From the Unconscious Mutterings  site:

Free association is described as a “psychonanalytic procedure in which a person is encouraged to give free rein to his or her thoughts and feelings, verbalizing whatever comes into the mind without monitoring its content.” Over time, this technique is supposed to help bring forth repressed thoughts and feelings that the person can then work through to gain a better sense of self.

They said… and I thought… ?

1.) Audition : I hate American Idol. I cannot watch it because those desperate people make me want to slap them.

2) Urgent : every fax I send regarding hubby’s work, I mark them all URGENT. I have no idea why only about 2% of the faxes are important.

3) Lunch : I am looking forward to having lunch with best friend L. when Toddler Terror is at his once a week daycare.

4) Adult: Its been awhile since Ive been to the Adult bookstore Whittiers in Tulsa.

5) Mug: Mugshots. I look at the county jail website every morning and view the current mug shots to see if anyone I know has been recently thrown into the slammer.

6) Awful: My driveway is awful after all the snow/ice Oklahoma has received. Just the thought of driving my car in/out of my place is awful in itself.

7) Comics: Once when I first turned 21 yo, I went to a Comedy Club in Tulsa with a bunch of friends. The comics on stage were very funny. I cant remember their names tho because I was highly intoxicated but I think one of them now is famous.

8 ) Damage: Since I bought my new car, I am afraid of hail damage…..so badly that I only have a $250 deductable on my insurance.

9) Kicks : I once had to ride a horse when I worked for The Blanton Ranch that kicked the crap out of everyone and anything. Not a nice horse. His name was Frenchie (I have no idea why either)

10) Experience : If I had the lifes experiences at the age of 18 that I have NOW at the age of 37, I know my life would be completely different.

Thats all folks!

Amen to experience, I couldn’t agree more.

Only going to be here until 10:30 and then off to see the vet, I mean quack again. 😉

Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could go back to 18 and know what we know now~ the different choices that I would have made….my life would be a complete turn around! I wish we all had that opportunity!!!

I hope you have a wonderful time during your lunch outing~ Girls need to be girls for a day.

  3. I’ll probalby steal this from you.
… at work we were talking about going back to a young age with the mind we have now.

We figured we wouldn’t like any of our friends back then…. we would think they were all crazy or stupid.

  4. I am wondering if S is battling some depression cuz I can’t get her to email or IM. If you hear/see her, let me know!

Hey, I thought ’bout your blog yesterday. I saw a bookmark at Books A Million that says “Horses leave hoofprints on your heart”. Isn’t that sweet?!

I LOVE horses!! They are so purdy.

  5. Great post! I watch the American Idol auditions…..they are like a train wreck I just can’t look away!

LMAO on the mugshots……that’s too funny!

rebecca-definately so! my life would be SO VERY different….but such is life, right?

pamela-steal away 🙂 I was wild when I was younger, if I had my 37 yo mind when I was 18-22 I would have thought I was the boringest (is that a word?) person on Earth and would have ran from myself, literally.

rachel-maybe she doesnt have email at work and her new puter is still giving her fits-but its been awhile. WooHoo! another fellow horse lover, never enough of us in the world

RNG-I cannot watch their desperation then idiot Simon being an asshole, its too much for me.

  7. Ah, but if I went back to 18 with the knowledge I have now, would I pay any attention to it?? I think not. D 🙂

  8. I adore the mug shot idea.
Too bad I can’t do that here.

  12. Free association, huh? It’s been awhile since I have done that. Liked your answers, it was cool to see how your thoughts pinged.

    Hope you are well!
